Our last summer program, the Intro to Electronics workshop was an electrifying event!
The students learned all about the basics of electronic engineering and were able to test their knowledge with fun and informative product testing competitions. During the first few days, they learned how to create lemon batteries and built motorized airplane launchers! They were given instruction on the importance of diligent research and detailed product blueprints, as well as the need for design parameters. The last few days were spent designing, developing, and testing motorized race cars. They celebrated all their hard work with competitive races to see who had the best designs for speed, relay, and aesthetics. After a long week of laughter and innovation, we’re sad to send these bright young designers off but super excited about all the opportunities their newfound knowledge will open for them in the future!
