Ted Baker and Frank Scott II receiving the Most Innovative Program Award

40th Annual International Conference on Business Incubation: Recap

From April 12th–15th, the Innovation Connector team attended the 40th Annual International Conference on Business Incubation hosted by the International Business Innovation Association in Chicago. The conference brought together entrepreneurship support organizations and ecosystem leaders from around the world to share ideas, strategies, and best practices for strengthening startup communities.

Ted Baker participated as a featured panel speaker during the session “Successful Ecosystem Development in Non-Traditional Communities,” highlighting how regions like Muncie continue to build strong, innovative entrepreneurial ecosystems. Director of Operations, Frank Scott, also completed an Incubator Management Course focused on strengthening operations and expanding the impact of entrepreneurship centers.

We’re especially proud to share that Innovation Connector received the Most Innovative Program Award for our Business Health Check Program, recognizing our forward-thinking, results-driven approach to supporting entrepreneurs and startups in Muncie and East Central Indiana. We returned home with new insights, meaningful connections, and fresh momentum to continue growing opportunities for our business community.
